Our hearts are weary. Our souls are unsettled. Turmoil and division surround us, and sometimes we don’t want to know what new thing is happening in the world.

But such times are not unknown to followers of Christ. So we gather together, we light candles in the darkness, we sing – and we dare to dream of the world as God dreams it.

Join us this Christmas at the Church at Ponce & Highland every Sunday at 11a in-person or online.

You especially won’t want to miss:

• Nov 30 – Christmas Decorating (12p): Have hot chocolate and snacks as we get in the festive spirit decorating our beautiful sanctuary and trimming trees after service at 12p. Kids welcome!
• Dec 7 – Snack Potluck (12p): Meet someone new at our first Sunday snack potluck after service at 12p.
• Dec 10 – Blue Christmas Grief/Hope Service (730p, in-person only): Even in a season of forced joy, some of us are grieving – especially this year. Whether it’s missing a loved one or a lost job, or worrying about the future, join us as we acknowledge the hard emotions Christmas can bring but leave filled with a spirit of hope.
• Dec 14 – Joy Sunday Choir-led Service (11a) and Christmas Party (12p): Our ever-popular Joy Sunday Lessons & Carols service (11a) is led by the amazing CPH choir. Bring friends, and stay after for a big Christmas party in the newly renovated theater.
• Dec 24 – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service (5p): Early enough for the littles to join, and pajamas are welcome! We will turn down the lights, light candles, and await the coming of the Christ child.
