SUMMARY:Weekly Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:Ever struggled with Daniel\, Revelation\, and other “apocalyptic” portions of the Bible? Want to discover a liberating\, nonviolent Gospel in these seemingly chaotic books? \nJoin us every Sunday at 10a in the parlor (on the main floor\, side of the building closest to the parking lot) or via Zoom at churchatponceandhighland.org/sundayschool. \nWe read through about one chapter of the Bible each week and discuss it together. No prior knowledge or reading is required\, just come as you are\, and you can jump in anytime. \nPlease note that the final Sunday of the month is usually “All Questions Welcome\,” where we discuss any and all of your questions on faith\, theology\, and the Bible.

SUMMARY:Ash Wednesday Service
DESCRIPTION:Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent\, a period of preparation for Good Friday and Easter. On Ash Wednesday\, we place ashes in the shape of a cross on our foreheads as a symbol of mourning and mortality. It reminds us of our fragile shared humanity and the way our actions affect others. \nOur contemplative Ash Wednesday Service is 7-730p\, Feb 18\, 2026. \nWe will have both traditional and glitter ashes available. Glitter ashes show remorse at Christian cruelty to our LGBTQ siblings as well as our love and affirmation for LGBTQ people.
