Worship and Study

Worship
Our worship service takes place at 11:00 AM each Sunday in the main sanctuary. We stay connected to our roots by continuing to worship in a traditional style.

That means piano, organ, choir music, and traditional hymns – no rock bands or modern Christian pop. Not that we have anything against guitars. This style simply reminds us of the long history of the Christian faith and of our congregation.

It’s like a family tradition. It connects us to those who came before, even as we grow and express God’s love in new, creative ways.

Study
Every Sunday at 9:45 AM, we offer two adult Sunday school classes in addition to our children’s ministry.

The Adult “Travelers” class meets in the Parlor. This group chooses a book to discuss together, usually around the topic of social involvement and spiritual practices.

The Adult “Beacon” class meets in the Conference Room. This group follows a monthly progressive bible study curriculum.

Newcomers are always welcome. The easiest thing to do is show up and someone will point you in the right direction. Nursery care is available during this time.
